Unit 2 - conventions of a corporate video

A corporate video is a video which informs the audience about a specific organisation or product. A corporate video's main aspect is to persuade the audience without being too demanding to use their item or go to their location.
What makes a good corporate video?
A good corporate video should be pleasing to the eye which would mean the video would be catchy and entertaining. A corporate video contains certain aspects to make the video as good as possible for example having a voice over or an instrumental beat in the background makes the video more entertaining an makes the audience remember the product or organisation being advertised. Here are a couple of things which many good corporate videos will include; positive behaviour, history of business, graphics, voice over and many other things.
Here is a good corporate video it has a clear voice over, it shows you the location and it gets straight to the point by telling the audience what the aim for this video is. It is advertising their organisation.



What makes a bad corporate video?
A bad corporate video will become boring to the audience because it may contain boring music(slow) and it might not have a voice over or the voice over could be to quiet for the audience to hear.
Here is a bad corporate video, it is not catchy and exciting to watch. The music makes you feel sleepy which decreases the audience's concentration. This corporate video lasts for 9 mins which can get the audience bored also by having no voice over this can be a disadvantage to those who can not read very well.
