                                                                                 Sympathy Shot
This image is a polysemic image because it can have many different meanings. By creating a short headline and placing it under the image it automatically makes the audience have sympathy for the young girl because she has lost her mother. The short headline gives the audience a clear meaning of the image it doesn't miss lead them to any other thoughts.
Shot
I took a close up shot to help the audience feel the emotion of the person. By taking a close up shot it makes the face the centre of the image making it the subject rather than the backround. I blurred out her hand to get the full focus on her face. This image makes the audience more compassionate towards the young girl, it also shows them that alot of young children are in her situation. Many young children are having to grow up without a mother or father which could be the reason why they are so aggressive towards others. The facial expression of the young girl grabs the audiences sympathy straight away because she looks stressed and upset.

Critical Shot
This image is a polysemic image because it can have many different meanings. I added a different heading underneath ' violent teenager lashes out at her teacher' by putting a clear headline underneath the image it gives the audience a clear meaning and helps them understand the emotion of the girl. The headline makes the audience think that the girl is dangerous.
Shot
The lighting is quite dark and the hand is the main focus of the image this automatically gives the audience a bad/ dangerous thought of the image. The darkness of the image gives the audience a feeling that she is dangerous. The short headline under the image gives a simple meaning of the image which shows the image in a critical way.
