Location Reccies

Apart of the music video planning included going down to our chosen location and doing some test shots to make sure the locations are appropriate for our music and just making sure overall the location is safe and easy to get to.
So our chosen locations are Thames barrier park and my house which would be used for the bedroom and living room. We chose these two locations mainly because they make sense with the story line being about cheating and relating mainly to the younger generation and most young people are seen in the park messing about or at home in their bedrooms.

So over the weekend I went to take some test photo's of the chosen locations, the main reason for me taking test shots was to see how the music video would come out and also to help picture different area's within the location. Me and Alysia thought these locations would be good for lighting as you can see clearly that in most of the shots taken by me that the sun shines through which is good because it relates to the happiness of the relationship.
The shot towards the right shows one of mine and Alysia's ideas in visual because we want to take a shot like this of the girlfriend showing the different emotions the girlfriend is feeling for example hurt, anger, upset etc. We hope to use paneling in this shot.

The shot to the left also shows one of the other area' s within the park were me and Alysia will be filming because it has a nice scene to it and can help show the relationship bond when the couple are hugging looking over the bridge. This shot shows were we would like to show the viewers a young happy couple in love and because it towards the sun it gives more light which suggests happiness rather than it being dark.

The shot towards the right shows a pathway
in which seems very closed in which is why we have chosen this area to be apart of our music video, this area goes really well with the idea of showing the different types of emotions. Paths are good ways in which we can get across to the audience the different moods of the different characters because the path is so closed in it makes the actor/actress more visible making them the subject and not the scenery. The path can help show facial expressions, body language and the relationship from character to character. Underneath is many pictures I took of the possible locations we could use and under each picture is a description explaining when we would use the shot and how we would use it.

All of these shots to the left an the right are what me and Alysia will be working with in our music video.
